Metric Must Die

In 1972 the Canadian government introduced the Metric system, but only half-heartedly embraced it. I am of a generation that never really assimilated into Metric measurements; growing up, I learned to measure things in feet, pounds, yards, miles, gallons, pints, inches and ounces. In the way that kids born after 1993 or so are ‘digital natives’, you could call me an ‘Imperial native’, but that would be awkward.
